Masala Chai Tea Milkshake

  • 1 cup of strongly brewed masala chai tea, cooled
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • A pinch of ground cloves
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
  • Cinnamon sticks or a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

  1. Brew the Chai Tea:

    • Prepare a strong masala chai by brewing it with a mix of spices like cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, and black tea leaves. Let it steep longer than usual to ensure the flavors are robust. Allow the tea to cool completely in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare the Milkshake:

    • In a blender, combine the cooled chai tea, vanilla ice cream, and the additional ground spices (cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg). If you prefer a thicker milkshake, you can add more ice cream or a handful of ice cubes.
  3. Blend Until Smooth:

    • Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Ensure all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is uniform.
  4. Serve:

    • Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
  5. Add Toppings:

    • Top with whipped cream if desired, and garnish with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of ground cinnamon for an extra touch of spice and visual appeal.
  6. Enjoy:

    • Serve immediately and enjoy the rich, spiced flavors of your Masala Chai Tea Milkshake.
