Tea-Infused Mint Lemonade

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags of your choice (black or green tea works well)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Juice of 4 large lemons
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves, more for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish

  1. Brew the Tea:

    • Boil the water and pour it over the tea bags in a large pitcher. Let the tea steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.
  2. Make the Mint Infusion:

    • While the tea is still hot, add the fresh mint leaves and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and let the mixture sit for a few minutes to allow the mint to infuse the tea.
  3. Add Lemon Juice:

    • Remove the mint leaves (you can strain the mixture if desired). Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the infused tea and stir well.
  4. Chill:

    • Refrigerate the tea mixture until it's completely chilled.
  5. Serve:

    • Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled mint lemonade over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint sprigs.
